About
I'm a writer, sound explorer, and former wilderness guide. My work plays between and across these elements.
A book of my ecological essays, Pleasing Tree, is available from Arc Pair Press, and chapbooks of my poems, Origami Drama and Daughter Particles, from Quarterly West and Dancing Girl Press. I hold an MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University and a PhD in English (Poetry and Drama) from the University of Louisiana. My love for different languages and landscapes has taken me to live and work in Albania, Czechia, Finland, Israel, and Spain. The Sonoran Desert feels like home. TEACHING EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
